Harinacs Compact Alpha Stapleless Stapler Kokuyo
The Harinacs Compact Alpha fastens paper without staples. Instead of a metal staple it cuts a small tab in the paper and binds the sheets through it, so there are no refills to buy and documents go straight to recycling without separating out metal. The transparent body shows the mechanism inside. It works either by pressing with the thumb or by squeezing the lever.
- Stapleless fastening, no refills
- Capacity of approximately 5 sheets of 64gsm copy paper
- One-point fastening, at the corner or along the side
- Guide mark that makes corner fastening easier
- Arrow-shaped blade for a fastening tab that is harder to pull apart
- Window at the fastening point that opens to clear paper scraps
- Strap hole
- Body and lever in recycled polycarbonate, 50% recycled content
- Available in red and black
Worth knowing: it does not hold as firmly as a stapler using staples. Depending on the type, thickness, and quality of the paper, the number of sheets may be lower and the hold weaker, for example with thermal paper or carbonless slips. Fastening leaves a hole in the paper.
