They adjust in angle to suit different techniques (more vertical for oil paints, flatter for watercolor). Suitable for small and medium canvases, usually up to 40-50cm height. Most models are wooden and fold flat for easy storage and transport.
Ideal for those without available space for large floor easel, for those who prefer to paint seated, for children, for practice, and for plein air painting when using a table. Also used for displaying finished works at events, bazaars, and shops. Some models (box easels) include integrated storage compartment for paints and brushes.
