High quality preparation sandwich in paste form from the Italian Giusto Manetti. Clay paste in yellow colour. Ideal for surface preparation for painting and gilding. Recommended for wooden surfaces.

Instructions for use:
“The application surface must be completely clean and smooth. Ampoli does not contain any adhesive substances, so one must be added to improve adhesion. It is recommended to dilute the material in a 1:1 ratio with a mixture consisting of 90% water and 10% rabbit glue. Once the mixture is prepared and ready, it can be applied with a brush, and gold leaf can be applied while the ampoli is still wet. After the ampoli is applied, it takes approximately 2 hours to dry.
The mixing ratio, quantities, and drying times may vary. It is recommended that the application be carried out according to the individual characteristics and techniques of each artist, and after experimenting with the material.
