Damar Varnish Matt 082 Talens
Application: Protection for oil paintings.
Composition: Damar resin, turpentine oil, matt agents (silica).
- Traditional finishing varnish
- Apply when the paint has fully dried (approximately 1 year for a normal layer of paint)
- Dries within few hours
- It may show signs of aging over time, such as yellowing or cracking
- Gives a matte finish
- It can be mixed with Dammar Varnish Gloss 081 to increase the gloss level
- It can be thinned with turpentine oil
- Clean the brushes with White Spirit or Turpentine oil
- Older layers of varnish can be removed with White Spirit or Turpentine oil
- Highly flammable
