Gesso Μαύρο Studio Acrylics Pébéo
An acrylic primer in black, for starting from a dark ground instead of white. Working from dark to light makes light tones and bright colours stand out more, and metallic and iridescent colours read far more strongly over black. Like the white, it seals the pores of the support and improves adhesion for the layers that follow, under acrylics and oils.

How to apply: on a clean, grease-free surface. Two thin coats work better than one thick one, with a light sanding with fine paper in between if you want a smooth surface.
