Wasco Wax Crayons Talens
Talens Wasco wax crayons are built for children’s hands for school and creative work. The water-based formula makes them hard enough not to snap easily, yet soft enough to lay down colour without pressing. The paper wrapper keeps fingers clean. They work on paper, card, wood, fabric, and stone.
- Hard enough not to break, soft enough to give strong colour easily
- Water-based formula
- Paper wrapper that keeps hands free of stains
- Work on paper, card, wood, fabric, and stone
- Combine with gouache, watercolour, and Ecoline
- Meet European toy safety standards
- Available in sets of 6 and 12
Two techniques that always work with children:
Wax resist: draw with the crayons and wash watercolour or Ecoline over the top. The wax repels the water and the drawing comes through the colour.
Sgraffito: cover a drawing in Wasco, paint over it with Talens Black Covering, and once dry scratch the surface to reveal the colours underneath.
