Perspective for Artists
The issue of perspective has always been a challenge for anyone involved, whether amateur or professional, in painting or architecture.
The author’s experience, combined with rich illustrations and detailed drawings of buildings and objects, protects amateur artists from the common mistakes in rendering perspective. At the same time, this experienced painter provides a detailed method for drawing basic geometric shapes (sphere, cone, cylinder, parallelogram) in perspective, highlighting the pitfalls.
This book also contains all the advice on how spaces are divided into levels, as well as how inclined planes and scales are rendered in perspective.
Finally, the method of locating the vanishing points and the guide lines helps all those involved in painting to deeply understand perspective.
