Spray Colours

Spray paints offer fast, uniform coverage on large surfaces and are suitable for painting, street art, graffiti, furniture renovation, model making, and crafts. They apply to wood, metal, plastic, canvas, glass, and walls, with the ability to create gradients, stencil effects, and smooth colour surfaces that are difficult to achieve with a brush. Available in matte, glossy, metallic, and fluorescent finishes, and require good ventilation during use.

Spray paints are acrylic or synthetic paints in pressurized form applied by spraying, offering speed, uniformity, and ability to cover large surfaces. Used by street artists for graffiti and murals, by fine artists for fine art and mixed media, and by hobbyists for furniture renovation, object painting, model making, and decorative projects. They apply to almost any surface—wood, metal, plastic, canvas, glass, ceramic, walls—but need appropriate primer for non-absorbent surfaces (like metal or plastic). Artistic sprays have finer mist and higher pigment concentration than industrial ones.

Sprays are available with different types of nozzles (caps), skinny caps for fine lines, fat caps for quick coverage of large surfaces, and in a variety of finishes: matte, glossy, satin, metallic, fluorescent. For best results: shake the can for 2 minutes, spray from 20-30cm distance, apply thin coats instead of one thick one, and always work in a well-ventilated area or outdoors. Sprays dry quickly (10-20 minutes to touch), allowing rapid layering. Use of a mask is recommended, especially indoors. See also our stencils, spray caps, and primers.
